Nutcracker Massacre: We Didn't Need Any of This

OK so I am not a big fan of British horror at all, its always long and drug out with no real great moments, remember this is just personal opinion. Also in this personal opinion, they fucking did it again with this movie. The massacre was like three people alongside long droning conversation. What made me stay watching, I couldn't tell you honestly. Well, lets get some REAL insight.

I am not one to sit and watch families banter back and forth in a horror movie. It takes away from the reason I watch them, if I wanted family drama I would watch a Hallmark movie, especially with this family. The movie centers around a bunch of rich people arguing over love and money. Go figure... It was a hard watch because its so dialogue driven. Even movies on a tight budget produced better than this. It's a good thing Art the Clown saved the slasher genre, because if this is where its headed, I'd rather stick to the classics.

There was no budget for effects, which made the kills I don't know, somehow more real, which I will give them credit for. Do you know why it looked real? Because they fucking sucked. Pulling away from death scenes with barely any blood does not make a slasher movie. A possessed nutcracker doesn't make it a slasher movie. What did make this movie noticeable was just how bad it was. I love bad movies, I think they make the horror world go round but for fucks sake... stop giving us trash! When I say I like bad movies, its because the people making them knew they were going to be bad, but classic movies. I love trash so much that Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things is in my top 5 movies. I love Troma, and Brain Damage video and yada yada. I grew up in the straight to video generation of horror. I've seen the worst of the worst.

The irritating part is that it's a bad movie trying to be good. There is nothing that turns me off more than that, especially when you had a million ways of doing this, the most boring and unimpressive things were saved to put in the movie. As I said before, the three kild? They aren't really worth the time of seeing this, but hey, form your own opinion. I can't keep going on about what I didn't like. I really did try and find one thing to like about this movie but it seems impossible. So uh... yeah.. we're done.
