The Deathtones: The American Invasion

"I am so psyched to see how far they have come as a group. The album sucks you right in with all the different tones and styles. It's like a happy meal for horror fans!"

-Craig

"Love the sound of this innovative band! This release has all the horror you can handle, Hath No Fury is a favorite, but really enjoy this whole album!!!"

-Terry

From the mountains of Pennsylvania comes a band that pulls no punches. The Deathtones are known for the waves they are making in the horror music scene. They are creating chaos with a distinct idea of making every song completely different. The bellowing vocals of Billy Bones, hard-hitting drums of Mr. Grim, insane bass lines from Mikey Murder, and the evil guitar riffs and solos of Killer Pat and Dorian Mordrake will leave a lasting impression on you. There is no way to define them to just one subgenre, there are tones of everything in their music, from a fun rock beat to a fast-paced ripper.

In November of 2022, The Deathtones signed with We Are Horror Records out of the UK and appeared on their compilation "Horror Punks Not Dead Vol.1". They also started plans on a "greatest hits" idea considering the band release 28 songs a year, it was a bold idea. They recorded three new tracks and remastered 13 more for this album and it is set to release on January 27th. We had the honor of hearing the album before its release and can safely tell you, with 100% confidence, that you will want to hear this at least once. This album will find its way into any horror lovers heart. Whether you love punk, metal, or just straight rock and roll, there is something for everyone, even a ballad about a chainsaw!

The songs take many different themes and inspirations from The Shining with The Colorado Boogie to Richard Ramirez with He Stalks The Night, and then blast you with The Cure with Black Dhalia Beauty Mark. There is something for everyone, and each song has its own special tone, and that tone fits perfectly. Knowing the band's recording process of never really practicing together, and sending music files to each other works like a charm for them and results in an extremely tight sound.

This album is fun because it can make you dance, or want to climb the walls. The added keyboard (They are currently looking for a full-time keyboardist) takes me to a special place in rock and roll I forgot about. If you are close-minded musically, this album will kick you right in the butt.
