10... Minutes... to midddnnigghhhttt (I hope you get the reference)

Sometimes, a vampire movie comes along that interests me. Don't get me wrong, I love Bela Lugosi's portrayal and there is always a great Hammer film, but sometimes they can get complicated with romance and boring. I love a great vampire kill movie, and this looked interesting so I pressed play and dove in. I am glad I did for sure.

This movie was everything I wanted a vampire movie to ever to be. However, was it really a vampire movie? All common points say yes, but can a bite from an animal send us down one wild fucking trip? These are the type of questions I found myself asking throughout, and there was never really a direct line to "Vampires", but it doesn't direct you around to the question. All we really know is our main Character Amy Marlowe, played by Caroline Williams was bitten by an animal, in the neck. Things just get weirder from there. Knowing it's her last night on the show before being fired, there was an uproar and the disease spread to others. With a storm raging outside. They are forced to survive the night with whatever is going on.

There was a strong start that ran through the entire movie. Even the ending, as much as I was let down, made sense once I thought about it a bit. What annoys me is that the ending, it makes things confusing, however as I said, the movie is like one weird trip. You find yourself asking "whats real?" throughout the entire movie. However, It's also easy to stay interested. With a kickass metal soundtrack and nonstop weirdness. It's a movie destined to be a cult classic.

The acting in my opinion is very strong. There is a lot of dialogue where you can buy the performers emotions. Everyone has a story they are hiding. In the end, it still takes a while to piece together and it's a constant mind fuck. I wish more people still made movies like this, ones that were good anyways. I am not a strong critic on acting skills but, folks seem determined to have perfect acting and an overdramatic plot. You can find this movie streaming on Tubi... for free... there's no reason you can't watch it and decide things for yourself.
