I watched Prey just hoping it would be better than anything came out after Predator 2. In my opinion, it was that and so much more. To everybody bitching about this movie because of WHO wound up victorious in the end, go fuck yourselves. If you pay attention to this movie, you'll see how, when and why ANYBODY would have been able to beat this beast.
The heroine showed far more intelligence against an otherworldly beast not seen since Schwarzenegger. With as good as Predator 2 is, this movie showed me that the franchise does not need Arnold, which is what I wanted. Amber Midthunder is the badass protagonist this movie needed. Brilliantly filmed and written. I look forward to see what comes next.
